Foley Wants To Return, Rosey Returning?, More On Shantelle Taylor's Release

— Mick Foley has been trying to get a larger and more regular role on Raw. However, Vince McMahon is not in his corner at the moment, basically thinking that Foley was a big deal in a few years but doesn’t really click with the fans today. Triple H has had the same criticism of Foley over the past year as well.

— Rosey wrestled under his real name Matt Anoa’i in dark matches at Raw and SmackDown this week. He lost to former Spirit Squad member Johnny Jeter in both matches. Anoa’i has dropped a lot of weight. At last word, there was a good chance of him being re-signed. WWE released him from his contract on March 21, 2006.

— Before Shantelle Taylor was released last week, there were plans for her to debut on Raw as a masked babyface who would reignite the women’s division. The idea was for her try to replicate the Rey Mysterio phenomena on Raw. On a side note, there was a lot of talk last year of moving Rey to Raw, but it never happened, then Rey went down with a knee injury and that was the end of that. Taylor’s debut was constantly delayed and Johnny Ace finally made the decision to axe her. He figured that if they wanted to use her at some point, they could sign her again, but in his eyes it was pointless to have her continue sitting in developmental and getting paid (she’d been there over a year).
