Former Bury director Joy Hart has chained herself to the stadium as the club’s struggles continue.
The Shakers have had their opening four League One games suspended due to their financial woes.
And in protest against Bury owner Steve Dale’s failure to sell up, Hart, whose dad Les is a club legend, chained herself to Gigg Lane on Wednesday morning, report the BBC.
Dale rejected an offer from a former chairman to part ways with Bury earlier this week.
He reportedly told the interested party he feels he can get a better offer elsewhere, even though the club remain at serious risk of being kicked out of the English Football League.
The EFL expressed their disappointment towards Dale for putting the brakes on an immediate takeover.

“The EFL board continues to be frustrated at the lack of significant progress that has been made by Mr Dale in providing the information required,” a statement read.
“However, we will continue to work with the current ownership in an attempt to achieve a resolution ahead of the Notice of Withdrawal deadline of Friday, August 23.

“(The EFL) remains in regular communication with Mr Dale but if a solution is not found by the deadline, the board will authorise the necessary share transfer on behalf of Bury FC which shall be legally binding on all parties and result, regretfully, in the club no longer being a member of the League.
“Should this happen, Bury’s record from the 2019/20 season would be expunged.”
Bury’s removal from League One would see 23 clubs battle it out, with only three relegation places to avoid as opposed to the normal four.
The Shakers would then be able to rejoin league competition for the 2020/21 campaign.
