Former WWE Star Signs TNA Contract, Knockout On Front Page Of Yahoo, Mitchell

— Jeremy Borash appeared on “The Pain Clinic” radio show over the weekend (available at FeelThePain.net) to talk about TNA. During his appearance, he noted that TNA has signed Daivari to a contract, so we’re going to be seeing more of him after the World X Cup concludes tonight at Victory Road. When Daivari originally parted ways with WWE last October, one of his goals was to join TNA.

— Karen Angle is one of “Today’s Top Searches” on the front page of Yahoo.com. She is ranked number six behind Ashley Tisdale, Denise Richards, Miss Universe, Alexa Ray Joel and the (MLB) All-Star FanFest. A personality from TNA had never appeared on the list before, so Karen is the first. Other wrestling personalities to appear on the list this year include Michelle McCool, Randy Orton and Vince McMahon.

— Regarding James Mitchell’s release last week, all TNA sources are saying that he was strictly let go as a result of the creative team not having anything for him, reports prowrestling.NET.

— TNA has posted the latest edition of Spin Cyle on YouTube. This week’s panel features Brother Ray, Chris Sabin, BG James and Robert Roode. {Video link}
