Full SummerSlam Kickoff Card Announced, New Match, Elias Singing
A few new developments came out of last night’s go-home edition of Raw before WWE’s SummerSlam pay-per-view this Sunday night. The event is absolutely loaded now with the Raw Women’s Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Ronda Rousey, the Universal Championship bout between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, and the Intercontinental Championship match between Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins which will now see Drew McIntyre and Dean Ambrose appear in their corners respectively. A number of new matches and segments for the show were finalized during last night’s episode of Raw, including the entire Kickoff show that will begin before the main SummerSlam show officially starts on the WWE Network.

SummerSlam will be preceded by a Kickoff show as usual, and during Raw last night, it was revealed that three matches will be taking place during the pre-show. One of the matches is the previously announced mixed tag team match that will see Rusev & Lana face Andrade “Cien” Almas & Zelina Vega. It has since been confirmed that the Cruiserweight Championship match between Cedric Alexander and Drew Gulak will now also be taking place during the Kickoff show. Finally, right after retaining their Raw Tag Team Championships during last night’s Raw show, Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas of The B Team will once again be putting their titles on the line in a match against Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson of The Revival.

As several fans have pointed out recently, there is currently no match featuring Raw Superstar Elias at SummerSlam at the moment. Elias will be in New York City this weekend to perform a concert at Gramercy Theatre, but fans of “The Drifter” will be delighted to know that he will be giving an encore performance during the SummerSlam pay-per-view this Sunday night. WWE announced on social media earlier this week that Elias will be appearing at SummerSlam to perform what is being called his “single greatest song to date.” Elias has been involved in a feud with Bobby Lashley over the past few weeks, and given the fact that he also does not have a SummerSlam match yet, he could also be making an appearance during Elias’ concert.
