After the usual post-season debriefs and sponsorship commitments which took place in the final weeks of December, Formula 1’s drivers settled down for a well-deserved winter break.

Christmas was a time for family gatherings, but thereafter drivers and their better half scattered around the globe to ring in the New Year, escaping to beautiful beaches or zooming down the slopes, with some – like Lewis Hamilton – indulging in both options!
