Hulk Hogan Undergoes Back Surgery, Hockey Team Hosting "WWE Legends Night"

— Hulk Hogan underwent back surgery last week, reports prowrestling.NET. This leaves his status for a possible match at WrestleMania XXV unlikely. Two weeks ago, Hogan said he spoke with Vince McMahon about appearing at WrestleMania, but was unable to reach an agreement.

While the type of Hogan’s surgery is unknown, doctors generally require a six-week recovery time from a discectomy. Hogan was walking a few hours following surgery, which is not uncommon, but it would be surprising if his doctor cleared him to take bumps and work a real match even five weeks after surgery.

In related Hogan news, some posts on Twitter are being attributed to the wrestling legend and generating a ton of online attention as a result. To clarify, the posts are being written by an impostor.
