Impact Making Change To Grand Title Matches, Aries Praises New Management, NWA Taping Match at The Impact Zone
As noted, changes are being made within Impact Wrestling as Don Callis and Scott D’Amore have taken over as the new Creative Executives in the company, and one of the changes is the scrapping of the six-sided ring in favor of the traditional four-sided ring. That change debuted at last night’s TV tapings in Orlando.
Another change taking place is that Impact will be doing away with the concept of judges and rounds for Impact Grand Championship matches. The Grand Title bouts will now be contested under normal pro wrestling rules.

And @ScottDAmore and the new team have all been pros as well. Much work to be done, but it’s a new culture at @IMPACTWRESTLING. #TheTruth https://t.co/wrgDTCAJck
