Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows Turn Down Multi-Million Dollar Offers; Former Champions Looking To Leave WWE

Former RAW Tag Team Champions Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have allegedly turned down multiple multi-million dollar offers from WWE, and are looking to leave the company when their contracts expire this September. The news was first reported by PWInsider.com.

Anderson and Gallows debuted in WWE as a tag team in 2016, coming off a hugely successful three year sprint together in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where the three-time IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions were popular members of the Bullet Club stable.

Anderson actually started with NJPW back in 2008, and was one half of a successful tag team with Giant Bernard (aka Matt Bloom) before coming together with Fergal Devitt (Finn Balor), Tama Tonga and Bad Luck Fale to form Bullet Club in 2013. Gallows joined the group later that same year.

According to PWInsider, the two have met with WWE on multiple occasions over the last few months with the company actively trying to lock them down to new contracts, but at this point it appears they are intent on leaving WWE.

Sources indicated that a primary reason for their pending departure has been how WWE has booked them for quite some time now, as they are rarely on television and when they are, are almost never used in a prominent role. Outside of the Survivor Series, the last time Anderson and Gallows competed in a tag team match on the main card of a pay-per-view was two years ago at WrestleMania 33, when they dropped the RAW Tag Team Championships to the returning Hardy Boyz in a four-way ladder match.
