Liverpool vs Bournemouth teams: Georginio Wijnaldum returns to starting XI, former Red Dominic Solanke on Cherries bench
Liverpool have made one change from the team that failed to beat West Ham in the Premier League on Monday night as Georginio Wijnaldum steps in for Adam Lallana for their clash at home to Bournemouth.
This is a potentially pivotal game in the title race as failure to beat the Cherries would give Manchester City an opportunity to increase the gap at the top of the table.
But Jurgen Klopp has a considerably more healthy squad available for today’s game, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson on the bench. James Milner captains the side and starts the game at right-back.
Elsewhere, Bournemouth have gone for five in midfield with Josh King leading the line for them.
Former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke is on the Cherries bench. Below you can see the confirmed line-ups for both sides.
Liverpool: Alisson, Milner, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Keita, Salah, Firmino, Mane
Subs: Henderson, Sturridge, Lallana, Mignolet, Origi, Camacho, Alexander-Arnold
AFC Bournemouth: Boruc, Smith, Steve Cook, Ake, Rico, Lerma, Ibe, Gosling, Surman, Fraser, King
