LOOK: The Undisputed Era Falls Apart Following Adam Cole’s NXT Loss
The Undisputed Era is falling apart. The developing story began several weeks ago stemming from frustration between Adam Cole and Roderick Strong. Now it’s led to the events of May 8, which saw Adam Cole lose a NXT main event match to Matt Riddle thanks to yet another distraction from Strong.
Strong showed up at ringside, were he attempted to help his Undisputed Era teammate. But Riddle took Roddy down, then trapped Cole in the Bromission. Cold tapped out and that’s when the meltdown began.
Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish tried to calm the situation but that did not stop Cole and Strong from arguing in the middle of the ring. That argument continued after NXT went off the air, when The Undisputed Era went outside.
Adam Cole vented on Strong, saying that maybe Roddy didn’t deserve to wear the Undisputed Era’s trademark black and gold band. Fish and O’Reilly were still trying to play peacemakers throughout the incident, but that may not be enough to stop this faction from imploding.
It was really only a matter of time until The Undisputed Era came to an end. The group has been going strong since 2017 and during that time, they’ve dominated NXT. While many fans believed that The Undisputed Era would eventually join WWEs main roster together, it’s obvious that there’s much more storytelling left for these four men on NXT.
