Major Update on Brock Lesnar’s Very Unique Money in the Bank Contract
Brock Lesnar returned to Monday Night Raw this evening, heralded to the ring as always by his loud-mouth advocate Paul Heyman.
The “Beast Incarnate” was brandishing his shiny, new Money in the Bank briefcase he picked up this weekend in Hartford, Connecticut after walking into the men’s ladder match in the 11th hour to effortlessly steal the contract hanging above the ring.
The interesting thing about Lesnar “winning” the briefcase is that he is technically not specifically bound to either Monday Night Raw or Smackdown Live. Heyman confirmed that the Beast does indeed have the right to cash-in his contract on either the WWE Championship, currently held by Kofi Kingston, or on Seth Rollins’ Universal Championship.
After coming face-to-face with both Rollins and Kingston to kick off this week’s episode of Raw, Lesnar will be on-hand to watch the two champions team up in the show’s main event, against Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin.
