Man Travelling With Son Beaten Up By Mob Over Suspicion Of Being Child Lifter In Mangaluru

In yet another incident fuelled by rumours floating on WhatsApp, a 30-year-old man, who was travelling with his son, was beaten up by a mob over suspicion of being a child-lifter.

A report by News18 said that the incident took place in Ujire in Mangaluru, Karnataka when the victim identified as Khalid was travelling with his two-year-old son in an auto.

According to the report, two passersby on a bike noticed that Khalid’s son was crying. The duo followed then to the restaurant where they had gone to have tea.
