Manchester United transfer news: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer calls on Ed Woodward to ‘speed up’ Bruno Fernandes pursuit

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has called on Manchester United chief Ed Woodward to act swiftly to finalise the signing of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, according to reports.

The Portugal international, 24, is in high demand after an impressive season for club and country.

Fernandes, who notched an incredible 32 goals and 18 assists for Sporting in 2018/19, is also being courted by United’s Premier League rivals Tottenham.

According to Record, United are still in pole position to land Fernandes this summer.

Woodward remains locked in talks with Fernandes representatives, with Solsjkaer keen for the United chief to thrash out a deal sooner rather than later.
