Manchester United transfer news: Red Devils preparing £50million bid for Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon
Fulham youngster Ryan Sessegnon is a target for Manchester United who are reportedly willing to pay £50million to bring him to Old Trafford.
United are hopeful of securing a deal in the summer for Sessegnon, 18, who has just 18 months left on his current contract as talks between him and Fulham over an extension have reportedly stalled.
The Express claim United have become aware of the lack of progression in contract talks, and are ready to swoop for him.
Sessegnon, who scored 15 times in the Championship in 2017/18 to help Fulham earn promotion, has struggled for game time under Claudio Ranieri this term and, despite his obvious talent and potential, the former Leicester boss does not believe Sessegnon is ready for a sustained run in the team.
Last summer, Tottenham were keen on signing the England under-21 international, but Fulham held out to keep hold of their player.
