Matt Hardy Denies He's Trademarked "Twist of Fate"; Says WWE is Free to Use Phrase
— In response to a recent report that originated at pwinsider.com suggesting that WWE is now using the term “Twist of Fury” instead of “Twist of Fate” because Matt Hardy trademarked the latter term, Matt posted on social media denying this report saying that he has not trademarked it and the change in name is completely at WWE’s discretion. He went on to say that the promotion and brother Jeff Hardy are free to use “Twist of Fate” if they want to.
I DID NOT. The @WWE & Jeff are completely free to use "Twist of Fate." The change 100% came on their end. I wouldn’t ever do anything to hinder my brother. I’m thrilled to see him back on #WWE TV, looking healthy & happy. https://t.co/L0xp5QyjpU
