Mbaye Niang flattered by Marseille interest

Speaking toL’Équipe, Senegalese international and Rennes attacker Mbaye Niang responded to reported interest in his services from Marseille.

“For me, it is flattering, it means I am doing good things. And Marseille, in terms of its history, the fans that they have as well… If tomorrow you are told that Marseille wanted you, it gives you a question to ask, you think about it, because it is a great club and it is a club that deserves to be respected today in France.”

“Today, I am concentrated on Rennes because we still have some wonderful things to live through this season. Aside from that, if a club like Marseille came tomorrow to try to sign me, I would not be insensitive to it. We will have to take time when the moment comes, see what we decide.”
