Monster's Ball match added to Impact Knockouts Knockdown

A four-way Monster’s Ball match has been added to Saturday’s Knockouts Knockdown special on Impact Plus.

Savannah Evans, Alisha Edwards, Jordynne Grace and Kimber Lee will battle it out after Gail Kim made the match official after Edwards demanded a match with Lee Thursday. The match will be in honor of the late Daffney who competed in the first such match.

While it had been known since Kim first announced the event, it was made official that Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo will be on the card Saturday.

The match came about after Purrazzo’s Bound For Glory opponent Mickie James attacked her backstage, leading to the two being separated. While Impact VP Scott D’Amore set up a no contact clause between the two women, Kim announced that Purrazzo and James will compete in separate “pick your poison” matches. James will pick an opponent for Purrazzo to face Saturday while Purrazzo will pick an opponent for James to face at some point in the future.

The show will also feature a one night, eight woman tournament that will determine a future Knockouts title challenger. The first round of the tournament is as follows:

Tasha Steelz vs. Jamie Senegal
Chelsea Green vs. Renee Michelle
Rachael Ellering vs. Lady Frost
Brandi Lauren vs. Mercedes Martinez

Also, Knockouts Tag Team Champions Decay (Havok & Rosemary) will defend the title against The Influence (Tenille Dashwood & Madison Rayne).
