Mother Of 5-YO Commits Suicide After Being Raped, Husband Also Kills Himself After Two Days

Rape victims seem to have lost hope for justice in India. Their ordeal becomes never-ending with the social stigma that they have to face. A similar case happened in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, where a rape victim committed suicide. The tragedy went deeper when two days later, her husband too killed himself.

The woman’s death was reported at Chhola Mandir police station while her husband’s was reported at Hanumanganj police station. The deceased couple, who got married in 2011, are survived by a five-year-old daughter. Police are yet to recover any suicide note in either of the incidents.
