Multiple NXT Trainees Released From WWE

Earlier today, WWE revealed the departures of numerous talents from NXT. All were relatively unknown with some not even making an appearance on NXT television.
Chris Atkins was released from WWE for unknown reasons. He was only used sparingly at some NXT live events. He did, however, wrestle on NXT television on a few occasions, most recently against Eric Young back in January. He was signed back in 2015 after attending a WWE tryout. No word on why he has been released or what he will plan to do next with his career.
Andrea DiMarco has also been released from the NXT brand. She had been hired several months ago to work as a backstage interviewer. She has since thanked her family and her fans for all of the support that they have shown to her on Twitter, and she has already even changed her username to reflect her actual name.

Perhaps the most shocking departure was Josh Bredl. Josh was viewed as having the potential to go places in NXT, but never even appeared on television. He was the male winner of the most recent season of Tough Enough. With he and female winner Sara Lee both gone without wrestling a single match on NXT television, the unfortunate pattern of Tough Enough contestants not going far in WWE continues. He wrestled as Bronson Matthews at some live events, but was plagued with a few different concussions. No word on if this is what led to his release from the company, but perhaps he could continue his career elsewhere.
