Oxford Fashion Week launch

Albeit the turbulence around the clashing dates of last season’s London and New York Fashion Week, this May will see the debut of yet another fashion week set in Oxford. According to the organisers of Oxford Fashion Week, the event promises to be the most spectacular series of fashion events in the UK outside of London. From the 3rd-8th May, OFW will be hosting a range of events focusing on concept, photography, swimwear and lingerie, a speaker event and a final evening couture show.

The fashion events will bring together local venues, businesses and students with designers, photographers, models, editors, stylists, journalists, and artists from all over the UK, Europe, and beyond. Contributors from around the world such as Romania and India have been confirmed.

To celebrate the launch of OFW, artists and designers are invited to showcase on the runway and exhibition space for free. OFW will represent a dynamic, creative collaboration coordinated by a determined team based in the heart of Oxford led by Carl Anglim and Victoria Watson, past and present students of the University of Oxford. The team includes individuals with professional fashion, photography and events organisation experience at an international level.

A full list of contributors is to be released on the 2nd April at the OFW promo party taking place at nightlife destination MAYA in London.
