    Troyes have tonight announced the signing of Manchester City’s Luka Ilić, who signs on a two and a half year deal. The  midfielder, who spent last season on loan at FC Twente moves to the Ligue 1 club, who are part of the City Football Group.     As reported by La Provence, stewards at OGC Nice’s Allianz Riviera intercepted a tifo put together by Nice ultras to display during their cup meeting with Marseille last night featuring OM forward Dimitri Payet wearing a Burger King crown.     Nice increase security ahead of Marseille reception

    L’Équipe report that Nice have made sure to increase stadium security ahead of their reception of Marseille in the Coupe de France tonight, six months after the league fixture was abandoned after a pitch invasion and mass brawl.     Versailles FC want to play cup tie at Parc des Princes

    RMC Sport report that 4th tier side Versailles FC have contacted Paris Saint-Germain to request the use of the Parc des Princes for their Coupe de France semi-final against Nice. Having beaten fellow National 2 side Bergerac Périgord, the side from the outskirts of Paris will be hosting the tie. They will have three options – PSG’s Parc des Princes, the Stade de France, or the Stade Charléty where Ligue 2’s Paris FC play.     UEFA have begun a disciplinary hearing over political banners at the Stade Vélodrome

    As reported by Foot Mercato this morning, UEFA have opened a disciplinary hearing following the presence of political banners during the Europa Conference League game between Marseille and Qarabag on Thursday night. Click Here: The game had previously been recognised as a potential risk, as a result of the significant Armenian population in the southern French city and the ongoing tensions between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the country where Qarabag is situated.
