Proof Manchester United are throwing it away this year – how the 2019/20 Premier League table would look if games finished at half-time

Manchester United are enduring a tough season in the Premier League and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is under serious pressure.

Things would be a lot better at Old Trafford if they weren’t as sloppy in the second half, though.

The Red Devils would actually sit fourth in the table if games had ended when the half-time whistle was blown, six places higher than they currently are.

They have been winning after 45 minutes on eight occasions, but only claimed three points four times over a full 90 minutes.

But which other teams in the English top-flight have raced out of the traps and endured sluggish starts?

Below is what the Premier League table would look like if games had ended at half-time.

Would Liverpool still be top of the pile and would Leicester still be shocking the top four? Find out below.
