Rains Continue To Wreak Havoc In Maharashtra As Tiware Dam Breaches, Killing At Least 6 Persons

Heavy rainfall in Mumbai continues to affect normalcy in Maharashtra. At least six people were killed and around 18-24 people are missing after heavy rains resulted in a breach in the Tiware Dam in Maharashtra’s Ratnagiri district.

The dam breached its walls around 9.30 pm on Tuesday night flooding several villages downstream. At least 12 houses near the dam have been washed away by the gushing out water.
