Ricky Steamboat Reportedly Suffers Brain Aneurysm, Snitsky Backstage Visiting

— Ricky Steamboat was hospitalized Wednesday night after experiencing pain in his neck and shoulder, reports the official WWE website. According to medical officials, his condition is most likely not related to his performance on Monday night, and his medical prognosis is “good to excellent.”

Meanwhile, Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer reports Steamboat suffered a brain aneurysm Wednesday night. His condition has been disclosed as stable, but he’s expected to remain hospitalized indefinitely. It was also noted that the aneurysm is not believed to be related to Monday’s angle.

Due to Steamboat’s condition, WWE has pulled video of Monday’s NXT angle off of its YouTube channel, as well as photos off of its official website.
