Rousey Talks Title Match, Big E Trolled, Theory Calls Out Cena

Last week on Raw, it was announced that Natalya will face Ronda Rousey in a match for the Raw Women’s Champion during tonight’s edition of the show. Natalya and Rousey have been friends onscreen for a number of months now, and they’ve had each other’s backs at times. Could that friendship go south tonight since Rousey’s championship will be on the line? Rousey herself took to social media to promote the title match, and she even asked herself the very same question. Rousey may be undefeated in WWE right now, but Natalya is one of the most experienced women in the entire company. Nattie vs. Rousey was taped last week, but fans can tune in to Raw to see how the match goes down later on tonight.

Anybody who follows John Cena on Instagram knows that it is a bit different from what he posts on Twitter or from what he says on television. Cena’s Instagram posts are strange as they are usually just images with no context or captions. John Cena may be more focused on acting than wrestling these days, but the sixteen-time world champion is not above trolling some of his WWE comrades. Earlier today, Cena posted an altered image of The Notorious B.I.G.’s 1994 album “Ready to Die” called “Ready to Eat.” The photo features SmackDown’s Big E and a stack of pancakes, much like he uses as part of his act with The New Day. Cena and Big E are said to be good friends, so this is likely all just part of Cena’s unique sense of humor.

John Cena has been away from the ring for a number of months now to concentrate on some of his upcoming film work. The leader of the “Cenation” has been celebrating the release of the Bumblebee movie, but the time for him to return to wrestling is near. Cena is set to wrestle at WWE’s upcoming live event in Madison Square Garden on December 26th, and he’s been confirmed for more WWE shows in December and January as well. Could Cena stop by EVOLVE Wrestling at some point in the future? Current EVOLVE Champion Austin Theory called out Cena in a recent video. WWE has sent several of its own stars to compete on EVOLVE shows over the years, but an appearance from Cena would be huge for both Theory and EVOLVE.
