Ryad Boudebouz reveals he rejected Manchester United

Speaking to L’Équipe du Soir, Montpellier attacking midfielder Ryad Boudebouz revealed that before he joined Sochaux, he rejected the opportunity to join Manchester United.

“I was in negotiations with Sochaux and my father received a call from a Manchester United representatives. We did not believe it was him until the day when he came to our house with a four year professional contract and lots of money. At the time, it was already a lot for us. We had the foresight not to leave too early.”
