The most followed Premier League squads on Instagram, including Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea
The Premier League season is only two games old and already it promises to be a thrilling campaign.
However, there is fresh competition between clubs in the shape of a new contest; the most followed squads on Instagram.
Thanks to the the research of Digital PR agency Tank, an alternative Premier League table based on the total number of each squads’ Instagram followers has been formulated.
Individually, the top five most followed individual players had over 120 million followers between them.
Mohamed Salah and Paul Pogba eclipse the 30 million mark, while the rest of the group is completed by Mesut Ozil (20.8 million) and Brazilian duo David Luiz (19.2 million) and Gabriel Jesus (13.3 million).
And those individuals undoubtedly would have bolstered their club up the rankings – but which team is the most followed squad? Find out below…
