This Rose-Shaped Museum In Qatar Is The Best Thing You’ll Ever See And It Cost $434 Million
A National Museum designed in the shape of a rose that will reflect the cultural consciousness and history of Qatar will be thrown open to the public on March 28. The museum’s opening which is being cited as a cultural treasure has been delayed for over two years now.
It has been built at an estimated cost of $434 million and a glittering opening ceremony is expected to take place on Wednesday. AFP reported that the opening ceremony will witness the presence of Qatar’s ruler Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe.
