Liverpool won a sixth Champions League trophy after beating Tottenham 2-0 on Saturday.

Goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi saw Jurgen Klopp win his first piece of silverware as Reds boss.

The German believes the Champions League triumph can be the start of a trophy-laden period for Liverpool.

He said: “Now we won something and we will carry on. We want to win things, 100 per cent. I’ve said it, this is only the start for this group.

“It’s still a wonderful age group, they all have the best times in their careers ahead of them so that’s big.”

Liverpool players were in party mode at full-time with the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jamie Carragher leading the celebrations.
