Triple H NXT Conference Call Open – Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe, 2016 Takeover specials

Triple H made the following comments during the opening of his NXT media conference call Thursday morning.
– Hunter said that Sami Zayn will wrestle at the “NXT Takeover: London” special. However, Hunter made it sound like the match will not air on the special. He also said that matches will be taped to air on the following NXT episode, including Elias Sampson’s in-ring debut and a four-way match of Jordan & Gable vs. The Vaudevillians vs. Hype Bros. vs. Blake & Murphy.
– Hunter said the plan is for more NXT Takeover specials in different venues and different timeslots. Hunter mentioned Japan as a possibility following the success of the “Beast in the East” Brock Lesnar event if they make an event feel special.
– Hunter pointed out that Samoa Joe has been “reinvigorated” on NXT. He said they “flipped the switch and went back in time” with Joe. He said Joe’s passion for the NXT brand has come through.
– Hunter said he has “huge expectations for NXT” in 2016, and they will be making announcements about events and tours in January following the holiday season.
