WATCH: Joe Marler accused of ball tampering AGAIN!
Harlequins prop Joe Marler has been accused of groping an opponent inappropriately again, with Swys de Bruin highlighting his actions on Stormers flanker Deon Fourie.
During Supersport’s Final Whistle show, former Lions and Springboks coach De Bruin highlighted Marler’s actions dubbing them ‘not so kosher’.
Fourie was visibly upset by the incident, but Marler escaped punishment on the day and has not been cited for his actions.
“It’s not so kosher what he’s doing there, and Deon Fourie doesn’t enjoy it,” commented De Bruin.
“Deon said, ‘no mate, it’s just not on, you can’t do that; it’s just not rugby’”
Fourie did take a moment to catch his breath but continued to play on and was named man of the match after the game.
The veteran flanker scored two tries, helping the Stormers to a 32-28 victory. The Stormers will now face Toulouse in the Champions Cup quarter-finals on Saturday.
Not the first time
It is not the first time Marler has been involved in incidents of this nature.
In 2020, he was handed a 10-week suspension for grabbing Wales lock Alun Wyn Jones’ genitals during a Six Nations match.
“I was having a laugh, but it was wrong,” he said at the time.
He has also been banned for comments made on the pitch.
In 2016, he was banned for two matches and £20,000 after calling Samson Lee “Gypsy boy” during a Six Nations clash with Wales.
More recently, he was banned for six weeks, four of which were suspended, for remarks towards Jake Heenan’s mother during a Premiership against Bristol Bears.
He was overheard saying to Heenan: “I’m clearly not your brother, am I? There’s no way I’m from the same mother as you. Your mum’s a f***** wh***.”

Dispicable behaviour and indefensible.
