WWE Notes: Lesnar & Cena at Raw's 25th Anniversary Show, Royal Rumble, more
— WWE has gone ahead and announced both Brock Lesnar and John Cena for the 1/22 Raw, which serves as both the 25th anniversary of the show and the Royal Rumble go-home edition of Raw. They join the already promoted Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash on the show, among others. We’d expect many other past superstars to be there, though it’s possible WWE will keep many of them a surprise.

— Brock Lesnar is now scheduled for the following events, leading up to WrestleMania 34:
-
* January 1 Raw in Miami, FL
* January 8 Raw in Memphis, TN
* February 26 Raw in Anaheim, CA
— Naomi has been announced as the first competitor in the women’s Royal Rumble and Elias has been noted as the first wrestler on the men’s side. At this time WWE still has not publicized how many talent will compete in the women’s match, but most people seem to think it will be a 30-woman match.
— The other complicating factor seems to be whether current champs Alexa Bliss and Charlotte will be in the match. If WWE wants to follow the men’s match, they won’t be as the winner of the Rumble will earn the right to face their brand’s title holder at WrestleMania, but if the two are kept out of the match, the company would need two more females for them to wrestle at the Royal Rumble. Of course, the third alternative is to not book them for any matches at the PPV.
