Sunday: Reims vs Monaco (13:00 GMT)

Reims will be aiming to avoid a third consecutive defeat as Monaco visit the Stade Auguste Delaune on Sunday afternoon. The hosts had been in a good run of form throughout September, but have lost to both Lyon and Caen since the turn of the month, dropping down to ninth as a result.

Monaco, meanwhile, head into this game on the back of three successive league draws, against Guingamp, Rennes and Lyon respectively. The visitors currently sit 11th in the standings and manager Leonardo Jardim knows his side need to start turning draws into wins if they are to get back into contention for league’s top spots.

Sunday: Lille vs Marseille (16:00 GMT)

Lille and Marseille meet at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy this Sunday in a battle between two big guns who have failed to perform so far this season. The hosts have won just twice in the league this campaign and currently sit 13th in the table having drawn with Guingamp in their last outing.

Marseille, meanwhile, have had a tumultuous few months, with the most recent twist coming in the form of an agonising 3-2 loss against Braga in the Europa League on Thursday. Like Lille, the visitors have only won two of their 10 league games so far, sitting 16th in the standings with just nine points to their name. Both sides, therefore, will view a win in this match as something they can use to finally kick-start their season.

Sunday: Bordeaux vs Troyes (16:00 GMT)

Bordeaux will be hoping their fortunes improve against winless Troyes at the Matmut Atlantique this Sunday. The usually reliable hosts have won just twice in the league so far, languishing in 14th as a result of their poor form. A goalless stalemate at home to Montpellier in their last outing certainly didn’t help raise the spirits of the Bordeaux faithful either.

Troyes, meanwhile, are still searching for their first victory since their promotion to Ligue 1, having lost six of their 10 games so far. The visitors head into this match second-from-bottom, with just four points, and were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by Nantes last weekend.

Sunday: PSG vs St Etienne (20:00 GMT)

PSG will be aiming to extend their lead at the top of the table as St Etienne visit the Parc des Princes on Sunday evening. The hosts head into this match on the back of their goalless draw with Real Madrid in the Champions League, searching for their fifth consecutive league victory.

St Etienne, meanwhile, have been in good form so far this season; they enter this match fifth in the table. The visitors stumbled slightly with losses to Nice and Caen before the international break, but have since recovered by recording victories against Gazelec Ajaccio in the league last weekend and, most recently, against Dnipro in the Europa League on Thursday. A win over the champions, however, will be their biggest yet.
